Description
Beach scene from Ocean Isle, NC. Sunny skies, rolling waves, and sand between your toes, adds up to a wonderful and relaxing vacation destination. This mid morning shot was taken around the first week of fall while the sand, sun, and sea are still warm and inviting, and the crisp air of fall gives way to long, extended clear views. While you bask in the warm autumn sun, the seagulls roam the beaches and soar overhead; Pelicans fly in formation, seeming to glide along the water, and Dolphins mingle just off shore entertaining the beach goers. As you walk along the beach collecting seashells, you'll see beach umbrellas minimally dotting the beach, children chasing seagulls or building sand castles, and fishermen with their rods and reels. As altars are erected and families and friends gather, you may even find yourself becoming part of the audience for one of the many weddings that take place up and down the beach front.
