A cluster of Pink Frost Lenten Rose blooms are a welcome addition and beautiful highlight to my woodland garden during the winter months. This shade loving, evergreen, perennial, blooms from January through March/April and grows around the world in temperate zones 4-9. The "Lenten Rose" is not a rose as it's name seems to imply. The name was derived from it's bloom time occuring during the Easter celebration of Lent.
