Digitally enhanced photo of a beautiful, white water lily and it's reflection, as it floats atop the water in my back yard pond.The flowers of the white water lily open only from the early morning until noon, according to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. The flower features many rows of white petals and a cluster of yellow stamens at the center. Flowers are typically between 2 and 6 inches in diameter.White water lilies bloom from the spring throughout the autumn. The blooming season lasts from April to October in most areas of the United States and Europe. Info obtained from ehow.com.
